Opportunity

We have developed several lines-of-business that serve the needs of the following IT disciplines:

  • Project and Portfolio Management
  • Software Quality Assurance
  • Requirements Management and Engineering
  • Configuration and Change Management
  • Software Architecture and Design
  • Software Release Management
  • Software Programming Languages and Tools
Our lines-of-business include management and technical consulting, training and mentoring, projects, product sales, and staff augmentation. We have achieved significant synergies across these lines and are able to offer our clients one-stop shopping.

Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional who can help us take our staff augmentation business to the next level. The market for these services is a niche that requires significant expertise to locate and certify qualified candidates. Consequently, it's poorly served by the commodity staffing companies. Yet there is a solid nationwide market for those who can deliver qualified people. Black Diamond has already proven this in regional markets throughout the U.S. Now we're ready to grow this service line deeply in the Central States.

Qualifications

We are seeking a unique individual, someone with proven sales results in IT staff augmentation, knowledge of software development disciplines and roles, familiarity with the tools used by each discipline, and with an entrepreneurial streak who thrives in a team culture.

To be successful you must have the following credentials:

  • Proven success selling IT staff augmentation services
  • Ability to accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual account opportunities and revenue streams
  • Proven history of account development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to independently penetrate new accounts
  • College degree in business, sales, marketing, or computer science
  • A strong working knowledge of Information Technology
  • A strong network you can leverage to complement Black Diamond's existing relationships
